I do apologise if this is a really late reply I don’t often check my tumblr mail. She is a difficult person to find information about, apart from her website there isn’t much about her online. I think to get a glimpse into her work you need to look into the work of Martin Parr and why he works in the way that he does. His “look” or style is similar to hers and he has obviously informed her work. She was a student under him at my uni. Her work was also heavily influenced by the “John Hine Studio” which specialised in colour postcards in the 50s I think, these where used as a kind of idilic view of britain to help bring tourism and advertise. You can see this influence more obviously in her new work about holiday camps in the UK. I really hope this helps and I hope its not too late.
